Overview
As Alberta’s top builder, Jayman MasterBuilt responded to the changing housing market by implementing a digital strategy that addressed the needs of a more discerning buyer.

Challenge
With a slowing marketplace, Jayman tasked Suitcase with creating solutions for two crucial points on the consumer’s journey. The first point required a streamlining of their website’s user experience so that buyers could select, review and educate themselves about the various homes and communities. Closer to the point of purchase, we were asked to create a touchscreen application that would allow Jayman’s sales team connect with and engage interested homebuyers and help them proceed along the process.
Solution
Online, we aligned the Jayman website with their customer’s primary buying motivations – price, location, or aspiration. Our developers built intelligent filtering functionality that allowed the user to self-select homes to view. We also delivered a first-of-its-kind configuration tool that gave the user the ability to choose their home based on location or home style, and then customize their dream home by modifying the floorplan, adding upgrades, and choosing lot location.
For the touchscreens, we followed the core functionality of the Jayman website. Now, from any showhome, customers can explore building options and enjoy a low-pressure engagement tool with simple ways to share, print and save their ideal home.
