Overview: The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial activities of Suitcase Interactive, including financial planning, budget control and management and some operational input. The Finance Manager is accountable to ensure the finances of the company are in good standing, conform to generally accepted accounting principles and maintain high financial operating standards.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain ownership of the profit & loss statement for the office. This includes the oversight of all expenses - payroll and related, facilities, vendors, contractors, hardware, software, supplies, equipment leases and other operational costs related to the office.
- Direct, coordinate, and report on the financial activities of the company.
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.
- Understand the company's overall vision and assist the executive team to achieve their goals.
- Direct and coordinate debt financing and service payments with external agencies.
- Manage the preparation of the financial reports for the quarterly board meetings.
- Manage and prepare financial reports on an as-needed basis.
- Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
- Main contact for office related finance questions.
- Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts.
- Lead the office efforts to maintain time sheet compliance. Work closely with - Project managers to make sure all human resources are being fully maximized. - Suggest hiring/layoffs to directors/executives.

- Oversee all record keeping functions insisting on accuracy and efficiency.
- Initiate and implement short and long term goals, financial policy and operating procedures.
- Work closely with the Executives to produce the annual budget and mid-year business review and the monthly forecast and reporting of actuals.
- Work closely with resource management or project managers to contain the cost of non-billable contract workers.
- Serve on policy and planning committees.
- Direct financial audits and recommend improvements.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable.
- Working with Account Managers and Project Managers, build payment structures within the Statement of Work.
- Communicate financial policies to the team.
- Develop budgets, sales forecasts and financial summaries.
- Monitor department budgets and holds team members accountable for spending.
- Develop and implement tools for tracking project profit.
- Make investment and asset growth recommendations.

Job Summary: The Technical Director is primarily responsible for the quality control of all products delivered to clients. The Technical Director oversees a team of designers and programmers and is accountable for the work produced by these areas.
